Hi. We're Jim & Danielle.

We're Arizona people—in love with the river, and deeply rooted in this Parker community. Hosting isn't a business check-box for us. It's something we genuinely love doing because we genuinely love sharing this place.

When you stay here, you're not renting a property from corporate hosts who've never met you. You're staying in OUR home—the space where our family has built memories, found calm, and learned what it means to really relax. We've thought about every detail: the coffee station (because mornings matter), the games scattered around (because connection matters), the fire pit (because laughter matters), the pristine bathrooms, the comfortable beds, the whole vibe.

Here's the honest truth: We priced Desert Retreat family-friendly on purpose. Because we know what it costs to gather your people, take time off work, and actually UNWIND. We didn't want cost to be the thing that keeps real families—like ours—from making memories here. So yes, our rates are fair. That's intentional.

We designed this space for easy joy: no stress about cleanliness (it sparkles), no stress about comfort (everything works), no stress about what to do (boat launch is 1 mile away, trails are everywhere, or just stay home and fire up the grill).

When you leave, our hope is that you'll carry something home with you: that sense of peace we've built here, the feeling of real connection with people you love, and proof that Parker is exactly where you belong.
